Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad (PAU/ Selectividad)
Here you’ll find information on the exam and tips to help you succeed.
HOW TO FACE THE EXAM
You need to copy the whole evidence from the text to get the full mark. No marks are given for just saying T or F or just for giving the correct evidence. Try to be as accurate as possible. There is only one evidence in the text to justify the question.
Be aware of singulars and plurals too.
If you are not given a verb in brackets then think of a relative pronoun or a preposition. If you are given an adjective in brackets, think of comparatives, etc. For the rephrasing, you will probably be tested about conditionals, reported speech or passive voice. Pay attention to pronouns, time expressions and verb tenses. They may be simple verb tenses of common verbs such as: bought.
Use a logical structure for your writing: Intoduction, development and conclusion. Don't forget to revise: - Punctuation - Connectors - Verb tenses - Spelling - Coherence of the ideas - Use the right register (formal, informal) - Try to avoid the typical phrases like: In my opinion |
